Shock In Chittenango Over New Oz Allegations

Shock in Chittenango today after accusations surfaced today that Judy Garland was molested by munchkins on the set. Chittenango of course the home of the annual Ozstravaganza. A newly uncovered memoir by Judy Garland's second husband Sid Luft claims that Garland was repeatedly molested by Munchkins during filming.

Luft says they would make Judy's life miserable by putting their hands up her dress- and these Munchkins were 40 or more years old. But one expert says this is all nonsense. John Fricke is an Oz and Judy Garland historian. He says none of this happened on the set, because the studio would never turn a blind eye to something like that and there simply wasn't time during the day for something like that to happen because filming was going on nearly around the clock.

Fricke says Garland admitted publicly that one of the Munchkins asked her out once, but she had to politely decline. Jerry Maren, the last surviving Munchkin, has said publicly that many of his co-stars were drinkers but denied witnessing any molestation.
