Cayuga County Sheriffs Deputies are investigating a burglary that netted thieves seven pure bred pitt bull puppies.
The burglary occurred inside a shed on State Route 90 in the Town of Montezuma between the hours of 9:30am and 1:00pm on Monday.
The shed was unlocked and the a suspect or suspects walked out with the puppies that are valued at 700 dollars apiece.
The puppies are eight weeks old.
The Sheriffs Department is asking for the public's help in the case. They want to hear from anyone in the area who may have purchased a pure bred pitt bull over the last couple of days.
