(Oneida, NY) There will be a informational meeting Tonight (Monday July 2)at 6:00 pm at the Kallet HE KALLET CIVIC CENTER, the meeting is NOT at City Hall.
The City of Oneida says the city is still under a state of emergency and an 8 pm curfew is still in place to protect homes that were evacuated on Friday. The Sewage Treatment Plant which closed Friday is now up and running and the city says drinking water is safe for consumption. Mail delivery has been suspended in the evacuation area and residents are advised to pick up their mail at the post office. Another meeting to bring flood victims up to day on recovery efforts will not be held at Oneida city hall - it's been moved to the Civic Center and starts at 6 p.m.
