SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) _ Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand will help judge a grilling competition at the State Fair in Syracuse.
Gillibrand will attend the Beef Day Iron Chef Contest put on by the New York Beef Council on Tuesday.
Gillibrand joins a line of elected officials who have visited the fair this year, including Gov. Andrew Cuomo and state Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli.
Local Congressman Dan Maffei also will help judge the Iron Chef contest.
