Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say they arrested three people accused of robbery at a Town of Clay drug store.
Deputies say they learned that two females and one male tried to leave a Rite Aid Store on Oswego Road without paying for several items. One suspect threatened a loss prevention officer with a knife who tried to stop them, but no knife was seen. The three fled in a vehicle, but were soon observed and stopped by deputies in the Village of Liverpool, where they were taken into custody without incident.
The suspects were identified as 43-year-old Chelsea Williams, 57-year-old Donna Finch, and George Washington Jr., all of Syracuse. All three were charged with robbery, with Finch charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, open container and obstructed view.They were arraigned in Town of Clay Court.
