Choboni's founder and CEO has posted a public apology for a recent recall of products with bloated containers and strange taste.
Hamdi Ulukaya posted a statement on Chobani's website that says, "I'm sorry we let you down." The recall became necessary because too much dairy mold was added to a particular batch. It caused the containers to swell and affected the taste. Both Chobani and Wegmans, where some of the affected yogurts were sold, are offering customers options to be compensated.
